1) Jets (0-13)- Trevor Lawrence/QB/Clemson
This pick is locked in unless the Jets decide to go on a winning streak. Gonna go with a "not likely" on that one.
2) Jaguars (1-12)- Justin Fields/QB/Ohio State
The Jaguars are gonna be excited with this pick, but all it takes is a Jets win to start making things interesting in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes.
3) Bengals (2-10-1)- Penei Sewell/OT/Oregon
There will be a desire for QB in this draft as several teams are deficient in that area. The Bengals have an opportunity to trade down with a potential QB needy team, or stay put and protect your franchise QB's blind side for the rest of his career.
4) Chargers (4-9)- Micah Parsons/LB/Penn State
The Chargers will likely try to trade down from this pick. OL is their glaringly obvious need, but with Sewell off the board, I'm not sure you can justify taking anyone else on the OL board at #4. Parsons is the most talented player there is, and the Chargers D gets even more exciting.
5) Cowboys (4-9)- Patrick Surtain III/CB/Alabama
This pick could go several ways depending on the Cowboys decisions on Dak Prescott and the future of Tyron Smith and his neck issues. Independent of those situations, CB is the area where the Cowboys most need an upgrade. Trevon Diggs gets his former teammate back across the field from him.
6) Panthers (4-9)- Zach Wilson/QB/BYU
The pairing of Wilson with Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady (the man behind the success of Joe Burrow at LSU) is an exciting thought. After an all defense draft last year, it's time the Panthers invest on the other side of the ball.
7) Falcons (4-9)- Caleb Farley/CB/Virginia Tech
The Falcons defense is awful and their clear need with an OL full of 1st round picks and plenty of weapons for Matt Ryan on offense. Even though they just drafted a CB in the 1st round last year, having one good CB isn't enough.
8) Dolphins (HOU) (4-9)- Rashawn Slater/OT/Northwestern
This marks the beginning of quite a run of picks for the Dolphins this year. Tua needs more protection to deliver the ball and Slater has some of the cleanest tape of any OL in the draft. This lets Austin Jackson slide to his more natural side of RT.
9) Eagles (4-8-1)- Ja'Marr Chase/WR/LSU
The Eagles need WR. They've needed it for years and hopefully they finally decide to move on from the aging Alshon Jeffrey and Desean Jackson. Jalen Hurts is finally at the helm and a weapon like Chase is something any QB would love.
10) Giants (5-8)- Sam Cosmi/OT/Texas
The OL is awful and Daniel Jones has so many turnovers because of it. This allows OT to no longer become a need at all for the Giants with the selection of Andrew Thomas last year. Now you can see what Jones has got.
11) Lions (5-8)- Devonta Smith/WR/Alabama
Virtually the entire WR corps for the Lions is due to hit free agency. Who they bring back is still up in the air, but starting with Smith is an excellent beginning.
12) 49ers (5-8)- Wyatt Davis/iOL/Ohio State
Shanahan wants to run the ball and having a pulling guard doesn't hurt in that regard. If they can stay healthy, it's not likely the 49ers will be picking this early again.
13) Broncos (5-8)- Shaun Wade/CB/Ohio State
Even before the suspension of AJ Bouye, CB was a need for the Broncos. The emergence of late round pick Michael Ojemudia has been pleasant, but doesn't change the fact that you have to stop multiple weapons from the likes of division rival Patrick Mahomes.
14) Vikings (6-7)- Christian Darrisaw/OT/Virginia Tech
Darrisaw has flown up boards and with good reason. He's a mauler and with an aging OL, Dalvin Cook and Kirk Cousins won't disapprove of some added help up front.
15) Bears (6-7)- Trey Lance/QB/North Dakota State
If Lance makes it this long, I'll be shocked. I'm not doing trades in my mocks (yet!) but Lance will likely go in the top ten from some team desperate for his talents. The Bears score here and hopefully can move past the whole Trubisky/Foles dilemma.
16) Patriots (6-7)- Kyle Pitts/TE/Florida
We'll see if QB is a subject of controversy next year for NE, but whoever is throwing the ball would love the comfort blanket of Pitts. With a huge catching radius and great speed for YAC, Pitts solves the TE problem that has existed ever since Gronk departed.
17) Raiders (7-6)- Gregory Rosseau/EDGE/Miami
Maxx Crosby was a good find for the Raiders but they need to do more than a 4th rounder to fix their lack of pass rush. You need to get in Mahomes head when you see him twice a year, and Rosseau is speedy and athletic enough to at least make Mahomes think twice.
18) Ravens (8-5)- Creed Humphrey/iOL/Oklahoma
Ever since Marshal Yanda retired, the interior OL for the Ravens has been struggling. It's led to regression in the overall run game, most notably the MVP Lamar Jackson. It all starts up front, and Humphrey is a guy that becomes a captain and locks down a position for years to come if he reaches his potential.
19) Football Team (6-7)- Jaylen Waddle/WR/Alabama
The duo of Waddle and McLaurin makes the question of who the starting QB less dire of a question. The amount of separation these two could create will make any QB viable.
20) Cardinals (7-6)- Kwity Paye/EDGE/Michigan
The Cardinals lack a pass rush from the edge, but also need some down linemen along the defensive front. Paye is a good mix of both, as he is an oversized edge rusher, but not big enough to quite play interior on every down.
21) Dolphins (8-5)- Dylan Moses/LB/Alabama
Brian Flores has Patriots roots and one of the things that the Patriots epic defense was built around was an Alabama standout, Donta Hightower. Flores gets his own version to start his franchise defense around.
22) Bucs (8-5)- Alex Leatherwood/OL/Alabama
As long as Brady is in town, the bottom line is creating the roster around him. Extra protection for a guy in his mid 40's is necessary.
23) Colts (9-4)- Mac Jones/QB/Alabama
Oh, the Colts. With Rivers currently on the roster but due to hit free agency along with backup Jacoby Brissett, there are no QB's on the roster outside of current rookie Jacob Eason. Unless you think he's the answer at QB, the position needs to be addressed.
24) Browns (9-4)- Andre Cisco/S/Syracuse
Cisco is a guy who has produced consistently throughout his career and once he hits the combine, I think people will start noticing how legit he is. The Browns need to add to their secondary, as their offense has absolutely no needs.
25) Jets (SEA) (9-4)- Alijah Vera-Tucker/OL/USC
Common thought is, draft a QB, immediately draft protection for him. For the Jets, this saying goes great long with their team needs, and they draft the versatile Vera-Tucker who has played inside his whole career until this season where he bounced out to OT and has played even better than normal.
26) Jags (LAR) (9-4)- Marvin Wilson/iDL/Florida State
The same thought can be applied to JAX, but the talent of Marvin Wilson is too much for them to pass on. Their roster has needs all over the place, and while OL is begging to be picked, they side with talent.
27) Titans (9-4)- Rondale Moore/WR/Purdue
Corey Davis seemed like an obvious to let walk into free agency, but with his emergence this year, bringing him back has to be a thought. But with this emergence, it's likely he's driven up his price point too high for the Titans. Moore is a Tyreek Hill-like speed freak.
28) Bills (10-3)- Rashod Bateman/WR/Minnesota
Josh Allen is good. This isn't a debate anymore. And with this knowledge, the Bills need to evolve around him. Bateman adds an extra level to the offense and takes pressure off of Diggs, allowing Brown and Beasley to float around the middle.
29) Packers (10-3)- Carlos Basham Jr/EDGE/Wake Forest
The Smith brothers have regressed on the edge, and Basham has versatility to line up all over the place in this defense. WR will still have to wait for the Packers.
30) Steelers (11-2)- Nick Bolton/LB/Missouri
This is a fun pick. Imagining an offense trying to get around the edge with Devin Bush and Bolton on both sides is laughable. Their speed together is something the LB position has never seen.
31) Saints (10-3)- Derion Kendrick/CB/Clemson
Marshon Lattimore is headed to free agency in a year that the Saints are 90 million over the cap from the start. It's hard to see how they bring him back, and even if they do, Jenkins is aging across from him. Kendrick is a man-to-man sticky corner.
32) Chiefs (12-1)- Paulson Adebo/CB/Stanford
The Chiefs are unstoppable on offense, which leads to other teams having to throw to keep up and keep the clock stopped more often. Adebo addresses this area, bolstering a position of need for KC.
33) Jets- Travis Etienne/RB/Clemson
34) Jags- Walker Little/OT/Stanford
35) Bengals- Christian Barmore/iDL/Alabama
36) Cowboys- Jay Tufele/iDL/USC
37) Panthers- Pat Freiremuth/TE/Penn State
38) Falcons- Jayson Oweh/EDGE/Penn State
39) Dolphins (HOU)- Patrick Jones II/EDGE/Pittsburgh
40) Chargers- Liam Eichenberg/OT/Notre Dame
41) Eagles- Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah/LB/Notre Dame
42) Lions- Jaylen Twyman/iDL/Pittsburgh
43) 49ers- Jevon Holland/S/Oregon
44) Broncos- Tyson Campbell/CB/Georgia
45) Giants- Elijah Molden/CB/Washington
46) Bears- Zion Johnson/iOL/Boston College
47) Patriots- Xavier Thomas/EDGE/Clemson
48) Jags (MIN)- Teven Jenkins/OT/Oklahoma State
49) Raiders- Terrace Marshall/WR/LSU
50) Ravens- Chris Olave/WR/Ohio State
51) Football Team- Jaycee Horn/CB/South Carolina
52) Cardinals- Cade Mays/iOL/Tennessee
53) Bucs- Zaven Collins/LB/Tulsa
54) Dolphins- Najee Harris/RB/Alabama
55) Browns- Levi Onwuzurike/iDL/Washington
56) Colts- Joseph Ossai/EDGE/Texas
57) Rams- Jabril Cox/LB/LSU
58) Titans- Baron Browning/LB/Ohio State
59) Seahawks- Trey Smith/iOL/Tennessee
60) Bills- Dimitri Moore/LB/Vanderbilt
61) Packers- Tylan Wallace/WR/Oklahoma State
62) Steelers- Eric Stokes/CB/Georgia
63) Saints- Amon-Ra St. Brown/WR/USC
64) Chiefs- Thayer Munford/OT/Ohio State
